So to be brief, as Steven described on Linkedin: the curious and open-minded person, who never fully fitted into just one of the academic categories - that's me! There's something to learn in so many areas of life - that's why I'm passionate about the mission of the DOAC and FlightStudio and have been following for a while (last year I was under the top 0.1% of listeners to the DOAC on Spotify according to the recap... thanks to the long university commutes)
I truly am driven and like to be around likeminded people, and be involved in working on innovative projects. Driven or dragged as the question always is on the podcast: Even though I think to some degree we're all dragged by some factors - all in all I'd say, I'm definitely on the driven side. That is also why I want move to a different country in order to work and achieve my goals.
My Big 5 for Life are:
Growth Mindset - always be a student of life
Explore the world through travel and living in different countries
Deep connections to others and myself
Keep surprising
Make things happen and don't fear failure
Hence I'm so drawn to work with the DOAC team and/or FlightStudio/FlightStory! The company culture aligns highly with my values.
As I am very detail-oriented, work conscientiously and have gained experience and am passionate about researching various topics that contribute to and impact society, by working at a media company, and studying a research oriented degree - and mainly through personal interest and curiosity - I am applying for a position in the Research team at FlightStudio.
Since I am a proactive and communicative person and able to keep the bigger picture of a project in mind, whilst juggling different tasks and making sure deadlines are met - I am applying for a trainee position for the executive assistant role. Project Management and Time Management skills I have gained through meeting deadlines for university, whilst working a part-time job aside and taking extracurricular courses. Professionally, this was through delivering projects like reportings and presentations on time.
I am aware that the Executive Assistant role has a very high responsibility and requires a lot of on-point skills, that is why I am applying for an option to start as a trainee or junior assistant.
